Didcot, Oxfordshire is a vibrant town located 15 miles south of Oxford and 20 miles north west of Reading. Didcot is well known for its power station and the very important railway junction of Didcot Parkway. Didcot has a new modern shopping centre (the Orchard Centre) and has regular bus and train services to Oxford and Reading.
All the main public services are available locally with a number of community activities, clubs and organisations for all age groups. There is a modern leisure centre, plus football, cricket, rugby clubs and other sports. The Cornerstone Arts Centre is run by South Oxfordshire District Council and has a fantastic range of facilities; a theatre auditorium, shows and performances from national and up and coming names, an art gallery, a cafe/bar, and a dance studio.
