Job vacancy - Operations Manager

A new role of Operations Manager is sought to assist with the effective running of the church.

The role will have three main components:

  • undertaking a significant amount of church administration
  • enabling our buildings to be used effectively by internal and external groups
  • overseeing the operation of the Didcot Foodbank, a key project of Didcot Baptist Church
Hours:  25 hours per week, based largely at our premises at
43 Wantage Road, Didcot but with some flexibility where appropriate.
Salary:  £14,950 for 25 hours
Closing Date: Wednesday 29th June 2022 at 5pm
Interviews:  Due to be held on Wednesday 13th July 2022
Start Date: As soon as reasonably possible

Didcot Baptist Church is an increasingly busy church, emerging out of Covid with newly extended premises, an enthusiastic staff team and an appetite for growth.

Our new Operations Manager will be a committed Christian, someone able to combine desk work with face-to-face engagement with people, someone who will be part of our leadership team but comfortable too with the need to sometimes undertake mundane tasks.
